Brought my Maison Margiela boots and Guidis to the store for resoling, both with rather intricate sole constructions that I wanted handled with care, the price was a little more expensive but I wanted it done right. The team was welcoming and professional throughout, Salina was particularly attentive, taking the extra time to note my request to have the Guidi logos precisely centred. I really appreciated the gesture. The workmanship was excellent, and both pairs came back looking fantastic.

What can I say, maybe photos really do speak a thousand words.

Yes, someone managed to completely ruin my Loro Piana summer walks with hot oil. The first two photos show the condition they were in before the cleaning. Honestly, I thought they were beyond saving, because we all know how difficult suede stains are to remove, especially oil stains.

I decided to give them a chance and trusted Mason & Smith with the job. I have to say, the results have genuinely exceeded my expectations.

What really impressed me was the amount of effort they put into it. They went through four separate cleaning cycles to remove as much of the oil as possible and get the shoes to the condition you see in the last two photos. Considering how badly they were stained initially, the improvement is honestly tremendous.

Of course, I know they’ll probably never return to their original condition, but they’re now in a condition where I can actually wear them again — and that’s something I genuinely didn’t think was possible when I first saw the damage.

From the gentleman I first handed my Loro Piana to, to the person who kept me updated on WhatsApp throughout the process, and finally to the lovely lady who returned my shoes to me, the entire team has been exceptional and first-class throughout. Everyone was professional, communicative and clearly took pride in the work they were doing.

I would absolutely recommend Mason & Smith to anyone who needs their shoes professionally restored, and I’ll definitely be returning to them again in the future. Thank you to the entire team for putting in the effort to give these shoes another chance. 🙏

Was referred by a few people to them and it’s already the second time I sent my shoes to clean and repair and coincidentally both times I were assisted by Niko and Selina! They don’t overpromise on stuff they can’t do, but always overdeliver! Superb service and I may even consider getting their housebrand shoes in the future too!
